Bought this app for 4 devices yrs ago when there werent others to chose from. Renewed bc we were used to it. NOW DOESNT WORK! No cust svc so cant get $ back. Outdated. Useless. DO NOT BUY! Try other newer & improved apps. Would give negative stars if was an option! Awful!!!

My wife and I have been using Footprints for over a year now to track our two kids. It took us quite a while to configure the app and indeed customer service didnt really help. But once we figured it out, we were able to add many locations (fences) and now we get notifications whenever our kids arrive/leave home, school and all their activities. Its also pretty accurate and doesnt waste too much battery. We just renewed our subscription for all 4 of us for two years ($5.99 if Im not wrong). I had issues with the renewal and it charged me 5 times, but I just called Apple Customer Service and got my money back right away. It turned out I had to uninstall and reinstall the app and then it worked like a charm. To my best knowledge its the best app that keeps track of the kids whereabouts out there. So dont get discouraged if its hard to set it up or if customer service is not good. Its worth using it once you go through the hurdles.

I bought this to track my daughter. Does not work. I contacted and no one got back to me. This is a scam.

So far so good. Just turned on fences for the kids at school. I hope this stays working consistently. I just renewed w a subscription to it. $3.99 is nothing compared to the worry and anxiety of your child missing! Now I know where they are if they arent answering my call or text. And no I dont use it often or to catch them, just to ease my mind, when I need it. Thanks again, helping missing children searchers like myself, become obsolete is a good thing! Update drops my kids constantly. Cant track them at all, not cool. Really frustrating.

The reviews speak for themselves. Used to be a good app couple of years ago, now it will not work. Tried everything. E-mailed developer, no response. Bought the one year subscription. Waste of money and time.

I downloaded this app and used it for the full 30 day trial. Worked awesome. Was very happy. Once my time expired I immediately paid the two year subscription price for three phones ($5.99 x 3). Worked for about a week then stopped. I have tried everything. The designer does not have any contact info or email in the app. I cant get any help. Its amazing how app worked great until I paid? Stay clear of this app. If mine gets fixed I will come back and update my review. However at this time its a one star.

This is the most unreliable app I have ever seen. Just when you cant find the kids it says they have Ben sitting in the house for 6 days. The only one it tracks 100% is me. I emailed them a over a week ago with no response sorry folks but it is just not something to rely on when you have teenagers on the move.

0 rating!!!!!! Ive had this app for a long time, bought the yearly subscription etc, and it worked as it was suppose to. Was great. Was tracking, sending alerts for the Geo fences, etc. I have had the IOS7 since the update came out and the app has worked great until the last few weeks. So I dont think that is the problem. NOT WORKING ANYMORE!!! Has not worked properly in a few weeks. I have emailed the support people for Footprints and HAVE NOT GOTTEN A RESPONSE. NO SUPPORT AT ALL. Do not buy this app.

My app also just quit working beginning of this year. It does not update even thought settings have not been changed. AFTER FURTHER RESEARCH IT DOES NOT WORK ON APPLE 7 which of course they do not tell you as you renew! iOS 7 has changed the way Footprints tracks in the background. In iOS 7, when Footprints is killed by the user from the new App Switcher (by swiping up), Footprints will no longer track until it is manually launched again. This is different than iOS 6, where even if the app was killed from the app switcher it would have been automatically launched again. Apple made this change to protect its users, so that any app that is killed by the user is no longer automatically relaunched. In the case of Footprints, however, kids can now easily disable background tracking by killing the app. We hope Apple reconsiders this new policy in future updates.p

Used to love this app, now it only shows yourself!! After paying for 4 upgrades this is ridiculous. Customer service for this app is the worst! Theres been more than enough time to fix it for all the paying customers!! Poor poor job!! Will tell everyone not to use!! BEWARE!!!

App is very unreliable. It fails to track me or my kids with any consistency. I cant trust it and do not recommend anyone buy it.

I tried reinstalling it on my little girls phone because it wasnt tracking her at all. It tracked her successfully once when I dropped her at school. Then I received notice that my daughter was across town. So I called her school to make sure I didnt forget a field trip or that her phone was or was not stolen. Sure enough, shes in her classroom and her phone is in her backpack and I just wasted everyones time.

Do not waste your money on this app like I did... Does not work.

Like another reviewer said, sometimes it works, but a lot of the time it doesnt. The first few months we had this it seemed to work well, but after we renewed for the year it really went downhill. Stops working often, then we are sending texts back and forth "Your footprints are messed up" and try restarting the app. It just hasnt been serving its purpose.

I bought this when it first came out and it worked. Now it doesnt and I discovered that MY CHILD CAN DELETE MY PERMISSION TO TRACK HIM! Major fail!

This app worked beautifully for a few weeks then nothing. I havent been able to track my son in months. No help from customer service. What a waste of time and the $5.99 subscription!

The first week was great. Now it freezes and is not accurate. Will not renew at this point.

This would be a great app if it stayed working and actually provided the service I paid for. I purchased the app for all four of my family members and the only person I can always see is myself. What good does that do? None. I want my $ back on all four phones...

This is a great idea however, it fails to update my daughters movements. It often shows her location from previous hours of the day as her "current" location. Save your self the frustration and use another app.
